Committees
ILTS Committees include:
Basic Science - The goal is to encourage presentation of basic research findings at the Annual Meeting,to organize workshops on specific basic science topics and to create a network of expert centers dedicated to the basic study of liver transplantation.
Education - The Education Committee oversees and plans ILTS educational programs including the annual transplant course at AASD, annual Perioperative Care in Liver Transplant course at the American Society of Anesthesia meeting, various single topic symposia and consensus conferences.
Membership - The mission of the Membership Committee to encourage ILTS membership in all regions of the world with a particular emphasis in countries with developing transplant programs.
Vanguard - This is a new committee whose mission is to engage younger surgeons, physicians and scientists with an interest in liver transplantation in the ILTS, both in terms of membership and participation.
Website - The website committee is responsible for design and update of the ILTS website, including the content of the new clinical sections.
